1. Today I released CustomizeGoogle 0.21 for Firefox with the following features:

# uses Google Suggest when you search
# adds links to competitors ("Try your search on Yahoo...")
# rewrites links to point straight to the images in Google Images
# removes image copying restrictions in Google Print
# secures Gmail, switches to https
# anonymize your Google userid (disabled by default)
# removes ads (disabled by default)
# adds a result counter in search result (disabled by default)
# filters spammy websites from search results
# 5 locales: en-US, it-IT, sv-SE, de-DE, tr-TR, ja-JP

CustomizeGoogle now have more than 500000 downloads. #2 Popular downloaded extension at https://addons.mozilla.org

2. You get exactly the same message about 'not the usual yada yada' in the IE toolbar as well.

So that means they've really made an effort to make it the same as the IE one :)

3. Thanks for pointing that out Ian. I've been using the MSN Search Toolbar in my IE for quite some time now and hadn't remembered that this a "standard" EULA for their toolbar. They've really done quite a nice job on the Firefox version. I've been using it quite happily all day.
