Eric
Mack recently had a chance to compare his Toshiba Tecra M4 to Michael Sampson's international model. The big
differences? Fewer stickers and less "SpamWare" - Eric's term for unwanted preinstalled software included on the
machine and on the recovery disk image.
In the Corrections Department, I used a different term in this week's Tablet PC Show and attributed it to Eric. Just
to set the record straight, Eric's term is "SpamWare". The error in reporting was mine (but I think I'll stick with the
term I used in the show thank you).
UPDATE: Eric just informed me that the term I prefer was originally coined by Tablet PC blogger and impresario of the stage Warner Crocker. Hat tip to the author ;^)

1. I'll take the crap and the credit! ;)
